Slipknot and Scream Park California Haunted Houses Partner to Create Slipknot’s Scream Park

October 7, 2015 - Events

The dark genius behind Scream Park California and Fear Overload Scream Park, has partnered with famed metal band Slipknot for 2015 to produce Slipknot’s Scream Park, the ultimate haunted house event. The event will feature 3 massive haunted houses, all themed after the band. According to the website, the event is not for anyone under 18 years of age, and features graphic, horrific scenes of gore, and adult content. Says Polanco, owner of Scream Park California, “this is no family-fun event. With Slipknot’s help, we have created some incredibly grisly, shocking scenes. ‘Scary’ does not even begin to describe Slipknot’s Scream Park.”

Polanco has been producing these events for quite some time. To be exact, he produced his first haunted event 16 years ago. Since then, he has been carefully growing his brand, and now owns the largest chain of haunted houses on the west coast. His events are known for being mature-audiences-only, and take place across Northern California. With that much experience in the industry, and the backing of an internationally recognized powerhouse such as Slipknot, this event is certain to get some major attention.

Sources say the event expects more than thirty thousand people to attend. Halloween night is expected to attract a whopping 5000 people, so the producers are encouraging people to consider coming earlier in the month. According to one employee, “Halloween is going to be insane. It’s on a Saturday this year, so people will be coming from far and wide. We’ve already sold tickets to people as distant as Arizona, and Nevada. Of course, there’s been a lot of interest in Iowa…” The employee was likely referring to the fact that Iowa is Slipknot’s home state.

The event is open twenty nights throughout October, starting on the 2nd. For tickets and information, visit
